The following Terms and Conditions apply to all products and services provided by Abbey Technologies

Definitions:
The Client: The company or individual requesting the services of Abbey Technologies

Abbey Technologies: Any employee of Abbey Technologies and/or any contractor employed by them to provide client services on their behalf.

General
These Terms and Conditions supersede any previous Terms and Conditions distributed in any form. Abbey Technologies reserves the right to change any of the Terms and Conditions at any time and without prior notice.

Copyright is retained by Abbey Technologies on all design work including words, pictures, ideas, visuals and illustrations unless specifically released in writing and after all costs have been settled.

Website Design
Whilst every effort will be made to ensure that the client website is free of errors, Abbey Technologies cannot be held responsible for any losses incurred due to malfunction of the website or any part of it.

Abbey Technologies cannot be held responsible for any copyright infringements caused by materials submitted by the client. We reserve the right to refuse any material of a copyrighted nature unless adequate proof is given of permission to use such material.

The client agrees to make available as soon as is reasonably possible to Abbey Technologies all materials required to complete the site to the agreed standard and within the set deadline.

Abbey Technologies will not be liable for costs incurred, compensation or loss of earnings due to the failure to meet agreed deadlines.

Abbey Technologies will not be liable or become involved in any disputes between the site owner and their clients and cannot be held responsible for any wrongdoing on the part of a site owner. eg. Any disputes regarding content or images that have been provided to us for inclusion on the site.

Abbey Technologies will not be liable for any costs incurred, compensation or loss of earnings due to the unavailability of the site, its servers, software or any material provided by its agents.

Design Credits
The client agrees to allow Abbey Technologies to place a small credit on their own site and on the customer's website. This will usually be in the form of a small logo or line of text placed towards the bottom of a page.

The client also agrees to allow Abbey Technologies to place websites and other designs, along with a link to the client's site on their own website for demonstration purposes and to use any designs in its own publicity.

Alterations
The client agrees that work required over and above the agreed work or required to be carried out after acceptance of the draft design may be liable to a separate fee.

The client also agrees that Abbey Technologies holds no responsibility for any amendments made by any third party, before or after a design is published.

Search Engine Submission
Due to the infinite number of considerations that search engines use when determining a site's ranking, Abbey Technologies cannot guarantee any specific placement. Acceptance by any search engine cannot be guaranteed and when a site is accepted, the time it takes to appear in search results varies from one search engine to another. Rankings will also vary as new sites are added.

Abbey Technologies makes no warranties of any kind, express or implied, for any and all products and/or services that it supplies. Abbey Technologies will not be held responsible for any and all damages resulting from products and/or services it supplies. Abbey Technologies is not responsible for any loss, or consequential loss of data, or non-delivery of products or services, of whatever cause. While we take reasonable steps to investigate the materials we recommend, we accept no responsibility for the performance or quality of materials or any consequential loss arising from their failure. The customer agrees not to hold Abbey Technologies responsible for any such loss or damage. Any claim against Abbey Technologies shall be limited to the relevant fee(s) paid by the customer.

Abbey Technologies reserves the right to use the services of sub-contractors, agents and suppliers and any work, content, services and usage is bound by their Terms and Conditions. Abbey Technologies will not knowingly perform any actions to contravene these and the client also agrees to be so bound.
